Corrections Policy
The Palestine Telegraph is committed to the highest standards of accuracy and journalistic integrity. We recognize that our reporting, particularly concerning human rights and conflict zones, carries a significant responsibility. When we make a factual error, we are committed to correcting it quickly and transparently.
Our Commitment to Accuracy
While our editorial team and on-the-ground reporters strive for 100% accuracy through a rigorous verification process, errors may occasionally occur due to the fast-paced nature of breaking news. We believe that transparency in how we handle these errors is essential to maintaining the trust of our readers and the global community.
How We Handle Corrections
When a significant factual error is identified, we will:
Correct the Story: The digital version of the article will be updated immediately with the correct information.
Add a Correction Note: We will add a clear note at the top or bottom of the article. This note will state what the original error was, what the correct information is, and the date/time the change was made.
Clarifications: If a story is factually accurate but the wording is misleading or lacks necessary context, we may issue a "Clarification" to ensure the reader has the full picture.
Social Media Updates: If an error was shared on our social media platforms (Twitter/X, Facebook, etc.), we will post a corrected update or a link to the corrected article to ensure our audience is not misinformed.
Reporting an Error
We encourage our readers, sources, and the public to hold us accountable. If you believe you have found a factual error in our reporting, please reach out to our editorial team immediately.
