60% of Americans disapprove of Trump’s economic leadership

A new poll finds 60 percent of Americans disapprove of Donald Trump’s economic leadership, reflecting widespread dissatisfaction with his handling of the economy.

Trump's economic management has received the greatest disapproval rating to date, with a startling 60% of respondents expressing displeasure.

The poll, which was taken from October 23 to 27, shows a notable change in public opinion. This stands in sharp contrast to the situation in mid-2020, when Trump's average economic approval rating was 49%.

Trump's decision to suspend trade talks and put greater tariffs on Canada, along with a government shutdown, coincided with the release of the survey results.

According to estimates from the unprejudiced Congressional Budget Office, the shutdown might bring the American frugality an astounding $14 billion. 

Furthermore, the survey reveals that 56% of Americans believe the U.S. economy is in decline, a 9-point rise from March. Significantly, 76% of those surveyed said that supermarket costs have increased.

Republicans, Democrats, and independents all report a spike in economic pessimism, demonstrating that the sense of a failing economy has across party lines.

With 33% approval and 60% disapproval, Trump's approval rating on "trade and tariffs" is similar to his rating on the economy.

Which demographics most disapprove of his economic leadership?

A majority disapprove significantly, with 61 disapproving of his profitable operation according to Navigator Research. Independents are a pivotal swing demographic that leans down from Trump on profitable issues. 

Women disapprove of Trump’s running of the frugality by a large periphery, around 23 points aquatic compared to men who are only 4 points aquatic. Women also express further pessimism about the overall frugality and their particular finances. Young voters tend to be more critical of Trump’s profitable programs, particularly regarding affectation, tariffs, and job request prospects. 

While 81 of Republicans authorize overall, only about 60 of non-MAGA Republicans authorize Republicans who lean moderate tend to be less probative of his profitable leadership.
